The Polish-Canadian pianist Daniel Vnukowski has performed in prestigious concert halls throughout Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. These included large-scale concerts for audiences of thousands as well as recitals for young people in remote communities across Canada. He was the creator of the "Piano Six – New Generation" programme and the founder and artistic director of the "Collingwood Music Festival."
Music by interwar Jewish composers holds a special place in Vnukowski's repertoire. This resulted in his sold-out recital debut at Carnegie Hall with a program featuring Karol Rathaus's Piano Sonata No. 3, which had not been heard in New York since 1929. Toccata Records released his recordings of Karol Rathaus's solo piano compositions. Vnukowski's virtual concerts have resonated widely around the world, reaching over half a million viewers. His performances have been supported by Fazioli Pianoforte and featured on NPR, Classical FM, Ludwig Van Toronto, and "BBC Music Magazine," among others.
Since November 2021, Vnukowski has been a radio presenter on Classical Jukebox at New Classical FM. More information can be found at ClassicalFM.ca.
