A graduate of the Institute of Musicology at the University of Warsaw (2008) and the Centre for East European Studies at the University of Warsaw (2010). In 2016, he obtained his doctoral degree (PhD) from the Institute for the History of Science, Polish Academy of Sciences.
Since 2016, he has held the position of Assistant Professor at the Institute for the History of Science, Polish Academy of Sciences.
Between 2018 and 2020, he collaborated with the Faculty of Artes Liberales at the University of Warsaw. From 2019 a member of the Musicological Section of the Polish Composers' Union.
His research interests range from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century. His research focuses on the history of Polish musicology and music education, the musical culture of Lwów, Polish cultural and scientific connections with Vienna, and the presence of students from Polish lands at the Institute of Musicology of the University of Vienna (1898–1938).
Author of two books: Przerwany kontrapunkt. Adolf Chybiński i początki polskiej muzykologii we Lwowie 1912–1944 [A Broken Counterpoint: Adolf Chybiński and the Origins of Polish Musicology in Lwów, 1912–1944], Warszawa 2017; and Muzyka we Lwowie.
