In the context of a charitable concert benefiting the Odd Fellows' Orphan Asylum, taking place within the distinguished Carnegie Hall in New York, the United Odd Fellows' Home Band, conducted by William McEvitt, performs the currently unknown Odd Fellows March composed by Koffler.

The fortnightly Muzyk Wojskowy [Military Bandsman], published in Grudziądz (editor in chief: Eugeniusz Dawidowicz) dedicated to ‘musical culture in the Polish Army’, announces Koffler to be its new contributor (in No. 3) and prints his open letter to the editor related to that engagement. Koffler’s series of articles titled Problems of Music is inaugurated in No. 5 (of 15 September).
Koffler composes his first dodecaphonic piece: Musique de ballet, Op. 7.
