A graduate of the universities in Lemberg/Lwów (1888) and Innsbruck (1892). He obtained a postdoctoral degree in 1894 and the title of full professor in 1902. He became a well-known figure in the academic circles, a professor at the Faculty of Theology and long-time head of the Chair of Christian Ethics and General Theology (1897–1933) at Lemberg (then Lwów) University. He taught Christian ethics (1897–1933) and canon law (1920–25). He held the posts of dean of the Faculty of Theology (1903–05) and rector of Jan Kazimierz University (1922–23).
His major publications include Religious Education in Theory and Practice (1894, 1902) and Christian Morality vs Most Recent Ethics. A Critical Study (1901). Narajewski was an editor of Lwów’s Przegląd Teologiczny [Theological Review] from 1924. As a university lecturer, he conducted services at St Nicholas Church, though he resided in the Łyczaków (now Lychakiv) district at 53 Kurkowa St. (where St Joseph Sisters ran a hospice for the terminally ill).
It was Father Narajewski who, on 24 January 1938 at St Nicholas (University) Church in Lwów, baptised Józef and Róża Koffler. The godparents were Wojciech Gołuchowski and his wife Zofia.
